Herndon High Gearing Up for 'Seussical' Opening

The colorful production runs next weekend, Nov. 15-17.

Correction: Evening performances begin at 7:30 p.m., not 7 p.m.

The students of Herndon High's theater department are hard at work putting the finishing touches on their production of "Seussical" the musical, set to open next Friday, Nov. 15.

From the staff and parents:

"Join us at Herndon High School for our fall musical, that invites you to connect with the child within: 'Seussical!'"

"Based on the works of Dr. Seuss, this is an uplifting, colorful spectacle that inspires and entertains. Come see the Cat In The Hat, JoJo, Horton the Elephant, Gertrude, the sassy personalities in the Jungle of Nool, as well as the Whos in Who-Ville! They will take you on a musical adventure of imagination that examines the power of compassion and individuality."

"Seussical is fun for the whole family!"

See photos from rehearsals above.

"Seussical" performances will take place on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 15 and 16, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online at herndondrama.org or at the door.
