Town Seeks Volunteers for Cemetery Advisory Committee

The Town of Herndon is looking for residents who would like to volunteer to be a part of the Chestnut Grove Cemetery Advisory Committee. 

The committee works to provide guidance on the cemetery's future develoment, general operations, and rules and regulations. The committee meets one to two times annually,or on an as-needed basis depending on cemetery activities. Volunteer members are appointed by Town Manager Art Anselene. 

Those interested in serving on the committee may contact the Town Clerk's office at 703-435-6804 or by email at town.clerk@herndon-va.gov. Volunteers need to fill out a Talent Bank application, which are also available  the town's website, here. Applications remain on file for one year, after which applicants can express their continuing interest or submit an updated application.
