Town of Herndon Receives Distinguished Budget Award
Herndon received the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award by the Government Finance Officers Association for the 22nd year.
Town of Herndon Director of Finance Mary Tuohy and Director of Human Resources Linda Simmons were recognized at Tuesday's Herndon Town Council meeting for their work with the Town of Herndon budget. Herndon has been awarded the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award by the Government Finance Officers Association for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2012. This is the 22nd year Herndon has received the award, which is the only national award in governmental budgeting.
