Town of Herndon, Fairfax County MLK Day Hours
The Town of Herndon's offices and services will be impacted by the MLK holiday.
Town of Herndon offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 16 in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr., holiday.
Refuse will not be picked up on Monday, and any refuse regularly picked up Monday will be picked up Tuesday instead. The Herndon Community Center and the Herndon Centennial Golf Course will be open. Classes are to be held as scheduled at the Herndon Community Center.

County Government – Closed.
Courts – Closed.
Note: Also closed Friday, Jan. 13 for Lee Jackson Day.

Public Schools and School Offices – Closed.
Library – Closed.
Fairfax Connector – Operating holiday weekday service, except routes 335, 395, 585, 595, and 597, which will not operate.
Fastran – Not in service.
Park Authority – RECenters open on regular schedules. Nature centers, historic sites and Green Spring Gardens will be closed. Frying Pan Farm Park will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; visitor center open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Teen and Senior Centers – Closed.
Community Centers – Closed.
McLean Community Center – Closed
Martin Luther King Jr. Day event will be held Sunday, Jan. 15, 3-5 p.m.
Reston Community Center Hunters Woods – Open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
