Jasbinder Singh Announces He Will Run for Mayor

During Tuesday night's Town Council public hearing Councilman Jasbinder Singh announced his plans to run for mayor of Herndon.

Councilman Jasbinder Singh announced his decision to run for mayor of Herndon on Tuesday, Feb. 14 during a Herndon Town Council public hearing. 

He said he wants to continue to do what he started, giving a voice to those who don't have one, talking with residents by going door-to-door and paying attention to the needs and details that impact the lives of Herndon residents and business owners. 

"I seek to do my part in this endeavor and lead those Democrats, Independents, and Republicans and all those who share these non-partisan values and who want their children and grand children to continue to live in a Town called Herndon," Singh said.

The Herndon Town Council election will take place on May 1, 2012.
