How Herndon Voted: By the Numbers
Ron Paul won three Herndon-area precincts, including Frying Pan, Hutchison and Coates.
Mitt Romney took the majority of precincts in the Herndon area with up to 72 percent of the votes in one precinct.
Ron Paul won three precincts in the area, which include Frying Pan, Hutchison and Coates. His highest showing in the area was 60 percent of the vote at Coates.
In Fairfax County as a whole, Romney received 25,705 votes, or 65.29 percent, while Paul took 13,662 votes, or 34.7 percent. According to the Virginia Board of Elections, voter turnout hovered between 5-6 percent.

Statewide, Romney received 59.52 percent of the vote with Paul taking 40.47 percent of the vote, with all but six precincts reporting, as of late Tuesday night.
