The Herndon Town Council unveiled a sign on Herndon Parkway on Wednesday letting those who pass by know they are at the site of the town's future Metro Station.
The town is currently in the midst of planning for redevelopment around the future Metro station. The Planning Commission will be discussing it at its next meeting at 7 p.m. on May 2 in the Hoover Conference Room, 765 Lynn St.
The sign is located near 575 Herndon Parkway, where a walkway will lead from the Metro station platform in the center of the Dulles Toll Road to the parkway.
