Herndon Council Preview: Council to Decide on HPRB Appeal

Short agenda includes three presentations, two public hearing items.

At this week's public hearing, the Herndon Town Council will vote on the appeal of a Heritage Preservation Review Board decision.

The Town of Herndon's Heritage Preservation Review Board denied an application for a Certificate of Appropriateness for the alteration of an existing structure on Jan. 28.

The application was for a porch enclosure on the structure located at 681 Monroe Street. The applicants installed a storefront window system, enclosing an existing porch on the property without first obtaining a Certificate of Appropriateness.
