Harlon Reece Honored by Herndon Town Council

Harlong Reece, a long time member of the Herndon Towne Square Singers, was honored by the Herndon Town Council Tuesday night. 

Reece is stepping down as director of the Towne Square Singers after more than four years as director. He first joined the group 24 years ago and served as assistant director for 13 years. He has been a soloist in the group, has composed and arranged music, directed the group. 

Members of the Towne Square Singers are volunteers who give much of their time to the community rehearsing and then performing.

The Herndon Towne Square Singers next performance will be the Winter Concert. Performances will take place on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 at 7:30 p.m. and on Dec. 2 at 2:30 p.m. at the Elden Street Players Industrial Strength Theatre.
