Four Former Council Members Honored
Downer, Husch, Kirby and Waddell commended for their previous years of work as members of the Herndon Town Council
Former Herndon Town Council members Richard Downer, Dennis Husch, Dave Kirby and Charlie Waddell were all honored for their service as council members at the Sept. 14 council meeting.
The four former members had each spent years volunteering in Herndon, both for loal organizations and as representatives on town boards, commissions and on council.
The following videos include clips from the resolutions presented to them, comments about their service from residents and current Town Council members, and messages from the former members themselves. Husch was unable to attend the meeting due to a previous commitment.
