Five Things To Know This Week

This week brings holiday concerts and more to Herndon.

Here's this week's Five Things.  

The evening will feature the jazz band, conducted by Brett Lemley, and the wind ensemble, symphonic band and percussion ensemble, conducted by Kathleen Schoelwer. The groups will play a variety of seasonal songs, and the event is free and open to the public.

The meeting will also be broadcast live on Herndon Community Television.  Tuesday night certificates of appreciation will be presented to those who participated in the 2011 Herndon Holiday Homes Tour.

The MOMS Club will have a cookie exchange and holiday craft for the children. Click on the link for more information about the event, as well as joining the MOMS Club.

. The Marines will be on hand accepting unwrapped toys and cash donations, while Carson and Chilli broadcast from Fountain Square. Additionally, toys can be dropped off at the skate shop any time.
