Cable Service Work to Begin on Dranesville, Madison and Van Buren

The project is expected to begin in mid-March and last until December.

Starting in mid-March AT&T will be working to lay new cable service lines along Dranesville Road, Madison Street and Van Buren Street.

The work will continue through December, the Town of Herndon announced Friday. It is expected that there will be minimal disruption to buisnesses and homeowners.

The contractor will provide advanced notice to those who may be impacted by construction activities. The contractor will inform them as work approaches their neighborhoods.

Most of the work will be performed by underground boring behind existing sidewalks and in easements to help minimize disruption. All property will be restored to its original condition after work is performed.

Contractors will be working from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. off the roadway, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. within the roadway when needed. Traffic will be controlled as needed.
