UPDATE: Three Arrested for October Attack and Robbery on Elden Street

Two adults and one juvenile have been arrested for beating a man with a bat and robbing him.

Herndon Police announced Friday they have arrested three suspects in connection with an attack and robbery that took place on Elden Street last month.

In the incident, a man walking in the 1200 block of Elden Street around 10:38 p.m. was attacked and beaten with a baseball bat and robbed of his wallet and phone by three unknown suspects. The victim sustained injuries to his arms and face.

Herndon Police said Friday that, after a full investigation by the department's Criminal Investigations Section, they have arrested two young adults and one juvenile in connection with the incident—20-year-old Jose Ovidio Ortiz of Herndon, 19-year-old Trent Taylor Binford of Sterling, and an unidentified 17-year-old juvenile from Sterling.

The three suspects have been charged with robbery and malicious wounding.
