Sterling Man Gets 26 Years in Child Porn Plea

In admitting guilt, the man acknowledged creating and distributing videos and photos.

A federal judge this week sentenced Shiloh Richard Forrest, 37, of Sterling, to more than 26 years in prison, followed by 10 years of supervised release, for producing child pornography. Forrest pleaded guilty in May to producing child pornography.

According to court documents, Forrest collected child pornography and in December 2010 sent images and videos from the collection to an undercover U.S. Postal Inspector, with the intent to exchange them for new videos.

Investigators seized multiple computers from Forrest’s home last year, and an examination showed that Forrest had recorded himself with a mobile phone engaging in sex with a child in his apartment in Sterling as well as at an Ocean City, MD, hotel in 2010. Investigators found hundreds videos of child pornography on Forrest’s computer devices.
