Security Camera Photos of Bank Robbery Suspect Released

The photos show a man with a bandana over his face jumping the counter to rob a teller of cash.

Town of Herndon Police released security camera photos of the man who reportedly robbed the Wells Fargo Bank at Elden and Alabama streets in Herndon Friday afternoon.

The photos show a man with a tan-colored bandana covering his face entering the bank and jumping the counter, after which police say he robbed a teller of cash and then fled the bank on foot toward Van Buren Street.

No weapon was seen, police said in a statement.

The suspect is described as a black or Hispanic male in his mid-late 20s with curly black hair, a thin build. Police said he is 5’10’’.

The suspect was wearing a black and white plaid jacket, blue jeans, and white Nike sneakers with a black "swoosh."
