Police Searching for Man Who Robbed Grocery Store Bank Teller

The man reportedly made off with cash.

Fairfax County Police are searching for a man who robbed an Oak Hill area bank on Sunday.

Around 3 p.m., police said a man approached a teller at the PNC Bank inside the Giant grocery store at 13330 Franklin Farm Road.

"The man made a vague threat and demanded money," a police statement said.

Police said the teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash and fled.

There were no injuries.

Above are photos obtained from security cameras. The suspect is described as white, 35 to 45 years old, between 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-7 inches tall, between 160 to 180 pounds, with brown hair.

He was wearing a dark jacket, a gray hat, sunglasses and gloves.
