The man who was discovered deceased along the walking path near the 700 block of Tamarack Way may have died of hypothermia, according to Herndon Police.
Police were called to the path shortly after 11 a.m. by a person who was out walking a dog and discovered the body.
"Preliminary investigation indicates the male may be in his 30s, and he may have been exposed to the elements last night without proper winter clothing," according to a police press release.
Temperatures Friday night and early Saturday morning were in the teens with windchills in the single digits.
