Police: Herndon Woman Had 4-Year-Old With Her During House Burglary

Suspects caught fleeing in Jeep.

A Herndon woman and two other burglars who were arrested trying to flee in their vehicle had a 4-year-old child with them, police said.

The call came in at about 11:20 p.m. on Monday, March 24, of a burglary in progress in Arlington as witnesses saw someone entering the house through a window and fleeing in a Jeep, according to police reports.

  • Tara Michelle Lumsden, 30, of Herndon was charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, child endangerment, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and driving on a suspended license.
  • Nehemiah Guillermo Gonzalez, 30, of Arlington, was charged with burglary, possession of burglarious tools, conspiracy to commit burglary, and child endangerment.
  • Naomi M. House, 35, of Arlington, was charged with burglary in the second degree, conspiracy to commit burglary, and child endangerment.
They were caught with antique silverware, gold coins and other goods, police said. All were held without bond, police said. The child was released to a family member.
