Police: Arrest in Vandalism of Government Building

Latest vandalism of multiple buildings still under investigation, according to Herndon Police.

Herndon Police are investigating new vandalism in the town, but they were able to make an arrest Tuesday regarding a January incident, according to a release.

Gregory P. Gullace Jr., 33, of Herndon, is charged with felony destruction of property, according to Herndon Police.

The arrest is related to vandalism of the town government building on Lynn Street on Jan. 17.

The arrest came as Herndon Police began investigating new vandalism early Tuesday morning that remains unsolved.

Windows were smashed in several buildings, including the government building at 765 Lynn Street, the red caboose, the Herndon Depot, and the Fortnightly Library, according to police. The damage was estimated at at least $4,500.
