Meadows Farms Nursery Employee Robbed at Gunpoint

Though the worker complied with the robbers' demands, he or she was assaulted before the robbers fled.

Fairfax County Police are searching for two robbers after they robbed and assaulted an employee of the Meadows Farms Nursery in Herndon Saturday night.

According to a statement by police, the employee was walking through the parking lot of the business, located at 11254 Leesburg Pike, shortly after 7 p.m. when two men got out of a pick-up truck, produced a weapon, and demanded money.

Though the worker complied with the robbers' demands, the two suspects assaulted the worker before they fled the scene.

Police said the suspects were described as Hispanic males who are between 20-30 years old and around 5 feet 6 inches tall. Both suspects reportedly wore red bandanas on their faces. One wore a white t-shirt, dark khaki cargo shorts and black sneakers. The other suspect wore a white tank top and khaki cargo shorts.

The suspects' vehicle was described as a white Toyota Tundra.
