Herndon Police Report: Two Men Arrested for Cocaine Possession

The Herndon Police Department reported the following incidents from Feb. 18 to Feb. 24, 2013. The following information was supplied by the Herndon Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. 

BRUIN DISTRICT
• The victim reported that between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. an unknown subject entered their residence and stole a television, video game system, DVDs and video games on Feb. 21 in the 2100 block of Wilkes Court.
• The victim reported that between 7 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. a subject broke into their locker at a fitness center and stole their backpack, headphones, clothing and car keys on Feb. 18 in the 13000 block of Worldgate Drive.
• The victim reports that between 5 p.m. on Feb. 17 and 5 p.m. on Feb. 23 an unknown subject broke into their locker at a fitness center and stole their toothbrush, goggles, gym bag and clothing in the 13000 block of Worldgate Drive.
• A 19-year-old Herndon man was arrested for driving on a suspended license and eluding at 12:58 p.m. on Feb. 18 near the intersection of Alabama Drive and Florida Avenue. 

GOLF COURSE DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 4:57 p.m. on Feb. 19 in the 1200 block of Sterling Road.
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 5:55 p.m. on Feb. 19 in the 1000 block of Sterling Road. 

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT
• The victim reported that between noon and 6 p.m. on Feb. 16 an unknown subject stole their wallet from a break room at their place of employment in the 200 block of Elden Street.
• A 25-year-old Reston man was arrested for being drunk in public at 2:09 a.m. on Feb. 23 near the intersection of Elden Street and Carlisle Drive.
• A noise complaint was reported at 5:40 p.m. on Feb. 24 in the 200 block of Sunset Park Drive. 

RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT
• The victim reported while inside their residence, they heard a window break. When they went to investigate, they found an unknown subject attempting to enter their residence. The subject fled when they noticed the resident. The incident occurred at 3:37 p.m. on Feb. 19 in the 500 block of Worchester Street.
• A 27-year-old Herndon woman was arrested for assault at 11:15 p.m. on Feb. 19 in the 900 block of Park Avenue.
• Graffiti was reported found in the area at 10:38 a.m. on Feb. 18 in the 800 block of Branch Drive.
• The victim reported an unknown subject broke their rear windshield and tail light between 10 and 11:50 p.m. on Feb. 18 in the 700 block of Elden Street.
• A 45-year-old Herndon man was arrested for being drunk in public at 10:47 p.m. on Feb. 23 in the 700 block of Lynn Street.
• A 34-year-old Great Falls woman was issued a summons for trespassing at 10:56 p.m. on Feb. 19 in the 700 block of Van Buren Street. 

CENTER DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by a subject that left the scene prior to police arrival at 6:26 p.m. on Feb. 18 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• A 25-year-old Herndon woman was arrested for assault at 3:44 p.m. on Feb. 19 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• A 26-year-old Herndon man was arrested for assault on a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct and for being drunk in public at 10:25 p.m. on Feb. 22 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
• A 23-year-old Herndon man was arrested for larceny at 8:22 p.m. on Feb. 20 in the 1100 block of Elden Street.
• A 30-year-old Hyattsville man and a 24-year-old Herndon man were both arrested for possession of cocaine at 11:46 p.m. on Feb. 18 in the 600 block of Dulles Park Court.
• A 31-year-old man and a 46-year-old man, both of Herndon, were arrested for being drunk in public and disorderly conduct at 11:43 p.m. on Feb. 24 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
• Graffiti was found in the area at 12:39 a.m. on Feb. 20 in the 600 block of Dulles Park Court.
• The victim reported sending money to a business for a product that was never received at 3:49 p.m. on Feb. 21 in the 1100 block of Elden Street.
• A noise complaint was reported at 3:10 a.m. on Feb. 23 in the 1200 block of Wilshire Drive.
• A noise complaint was reported at 10:06 p.m. on Feb. 23 in the 1200 block of Elden Street. 

OTHER INCIDENTS
• A 46-year-old Sterling man was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 11:56 p.m. on Feb. 18 in the 1100 block of Elden Street.
• A 42-year-old Sterling man was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 1:53 a.m. on Feb. 23 near the intersection of Elden Street and Alabama Drive.
• A 24-year-old Herndon woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Frederick County at 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 21 in the 400 block of Van Buren Street.
• A 35-year-old Leesburg man was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Loudoun County at 12:58 a.m. on Feb. 23 near the intersection of Herndon Parkway and Elden Street.
• The Herndon Police reported the following traffic incidents from Feb. 18-24: two incidents of reckless driving, two incidents of driving under the influence, 39 incidents of speeding, one incident of no operators license, two incidents of driving while on a suspended or revoked license, and 28 incidents of expired or no Town of Herndon sticker.
