Herndon Police Report: Sign Stolen from Town Green, Grey Goose Vodka Stolen, Motorcycle Repeatedly Knocked Over

The Herndon Police Department reported the following incidents from March 18 through March 24, 2013. The following information was supplied by the Herndon Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.  

BRUIN DISTRICT
• The victim reported their residence was entered between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. and their TV, Xbox, CDs and a small table were reported stolen on March 19 in the 2100 block of Highcourt Lane.
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 1:07 p.m. on March 18 in the 400 block of Pickett Lane.
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 10:58 p.m. on March 19 in the 2100 block of Highcourt Lane.
• A 30-year-old South Riding man was arrested for being drunk in pubic at 5:10 p.m. on March 20 in the 900 block of Herndon Parkway. 

GOLF COURSE DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 8:52 p.m. on March 23 in the 1100 block of Lisa Court.
• A 24-year-old Annandale man was arrested for larceny, unlawful alcohol consumption and for being drunk in public at 7:40 a.m. on March 24 in the 1100 block of Crestview Drive.
• A 24-year-old Sterling man was arrested for possession of marijuana at 1:19 a.m. on March 24 near the intersection of Herndon Parkway and Sterling Road.
• The victim reported a subject keyed their vehicle at 5:20 p.m. on March 22 in the 1100 block of Crestview Drive.
• A 24-year-old Sterling man was arrested for being drunk in public at 8:23 a.m. on March 24 in the 1100 block of Crestview Drive. 

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 3:25 a.m. on March 24 in the 300 block of Herndon Parkway.
• A subject shoplifted a bottle of Grey Goose Vodka from a business at 2:05 p.m. on March 21 in the 600 block of Post Drive.
• Three juvenile subjects were found to have been in possession of marijuana at 2:05 p.m. on March 21 in the 100 block of Spring Street.
• A noise complaint was reported at 11:10 p.m. on March 23 in the 700 block of Tamarack Way. 

RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT
• A 16-year-old girl was arrested for assault at 12:39 p.m. on March 19 in the 900 block of Branch Drive.
• A 32-year-old Herndon man was arrested for assault at 2:51 a.m. on March 21 in the 800 block of Elden Street.
• A large sign was reported stolen from the Town Green at 3:39 p.m. on March 23 in the 700 block of Lynn Street. 

CENTER DISTRICT
• A 44-year-old Herndon man was arrested for larceny at 5:43 p.m. on March 22 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported an acquaintance stole their shoes and jacket at 11:32 a.m. on March 24 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported their iPhone was stolen from a hotel room between 5:30 and 5:35 a.m. on March 24 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
• A 40-year-old woman with no fixed address was arrested for being drunk in public at 12:18 a.m. on March 18 in the 800 block of Dulles Court.
• A 37-year-old Fairfax man was arrested for being drunk in public and disorderly conduct on March 19 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• A 44-year-old Herndon man was arrested for being drunk in public at 1:28 a.m. on March 22 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported the front windshield of their vehicle was smashed at 7:04 p.m. on March 19 in the 600 block of Dulles Park Court.
• The victim reported their motorcycle had been knocked over on three separate occasions causing damage to the mirror and windshield at 7 a.m. on March 22 in the 600 block of Dulles Park Court.
• A 29-year-old man with no fixed address was arrested for having no operators license at 12:43 a.m. on March 20 in the 1200 block of Elden Street. 

OTHER INCIDENTS
• A 27-year-old Reston man was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 2:40 a.m. on March 18 in the 700 block of Van Buren Street.
• A 63-year-old Herndon man was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 10:10 p.m. on March 23 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
• An 18-year-old Herndon man was arrested for driving illegally after consuming alcohol at 1:14 a.m. on March 24 near the intersection of Center and Locust streets.
• The Herndon Police reported the following traffic incidents from March 18-24: 31 incidents of speeding, 12 incidents of no operators license, one incident of driving while on a suspended or revoked license, four incidents of expired registration, nine incidents of expired inspection, 57 incidents of failure to obey a highway sign, 15 incidents of failure to pay full time and attention, and 11 incidents of expired or no Town of Herndon sticker.
