Herndon Police Report - Sept. 6-12

Herndon police reported incidents of peeping, steak stealing and BB gun shooting

The Herndon Police Department reported the following incidents between Sept. 6-12, 2010:

BRUIN DISTRICT

  • Harrold Cannon, 48, of Herndon, was reported arrested for alleged assault at 2:17 a.m. on Sept. 8 in the 800 block of Sycamore Court.
  • Isaiah Grant, 46, of Herndon, was reported arrested for alleged assault at 6:56 a.m. on Sept. 7 in the 600 block of Grant Street.
  • Susan Aguilar, 33, of Herndon, was reported arrested for alleged assault at 1:40 p.m. on Sept. 7 in the 700 block of Birch Court.
  • The victim reported their wallet was stolen from a locker at 2:10 p.m. on Sept. 6 in the 12000 block of Worldgate Drive.
  • Two vehicles were reported broken into between 3 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 7 and two GPS units were reported stolen in the 2100 block of Wilkes Court.
  • A vehicle was reported broken into between 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 8 and 7:32 a.m. on Sept. 9 and two power cords were stolen in the 13000 block of Worldgate Drive.
  • A bicycle was reported stolen from the front yard of a residence at 4:25 p.m. on Sept. 11 in the 400 block of Virginia Avenue.
  • A parked vehicle was reported damaged between 10 p.m. on Sept. 7 and noon on Sept. 8 in the 2100 block of Wilkes Court.
  • A parked vehicle was reported damaged between midnight and 1:50 a.m. on Sept. 9 near the intersection of Palmer Drive and Hickory Court.
  • Graffiti was reported found in the area at 10:14 a.m. on Sept. 11 in the 500 block of Fairfax Lane.
  • The victim reported unauthorized charges were made on their credit card at 11:34 a.m. on Sept. 9 in the 700 block of Herndon Woods Court.
  • Earl Marshall Jr., 33, of Herndon was reportedly arrested for allegedly forging a public document, providing false identification to law enforcement, driving on a revoked license, speeding and unauthorized use of an inspection decal at 5:48 p.m. on Sept. 9 in the 13000 block of Worldgate Drive.
  • The victim reported unauthorized charges were made on their credit card at 2:43 p.m. on Sept. 10 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue.
  • A noise complaint was reported at 1:03 a.m. on Sept. 12 in the 200 block of Missouri Avenue.

  • The victim reported being struck by BB's from a BB gun, shot by an unknown subject in a vehicle that fled the scene, at 9:20 p.m. on Sept. 6 in the 1200 block of Springtide Place.
  • The windows of a parked vehicle were reported damaged at 1:09 p.m. on Sept. 6 in the 800 block of Ferndale Court.
  • Orlando Lopez Rivera, 43, of Herndon, was reportedly arrested for alleged drunk in public at 7:25 p.m. on Sept. 6 near the intersection of Ferndale Avenue and the W&OD Trail.

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT

  • The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 9:56 p.m. on Sept. 12 in the 100 block of Laurel Way.
  • A flat screen television was removed from a fitness room between 9 p.m. on Sept. 6 and 8:10 a.m. on Sept. 7 in the 100 block of Laurel Way.
  • The victim reported that an acquaintance damaged a television in their residence at 8:24 p.m. on Sept. 10 in the 100 block of Laurel Way.
  • Wilfredo Monge Bonilla, 27, of Herndon, was reportedly arrested for alleged drunk in public at 2:19 a.m. on Sept. 12 in the 700 block of Grant street.

  • Jose Carballo Vargas, 28, of Herndon, was reportedly arrested for alleged assault and trespassing at 3:31 p.m. on Sept. 7 in the 1000 block of Burwick Drive.
  • The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 4:35 p.m. on Sept. 7 in the 1000 block of Boros Court.
  • The victim reported a flag pole was stolen from outside their residence between 7 p.m. on Sept. 8 and 5 a.m. on Sept. 9 in the 800 block of Elden Street.
  • A pedestrian mirror was found to be damaged at 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 7 in the 700 block of Lynn Street.
  • The victim reported their planter on their front porch was damaged between 9 p.m. on Sept. 11 and 7 a.m. on Sept. 12 in the 1300 block of Grant Street.
  • The window of a parked vehicle was reported damaged between 4 p.m. and 11:40 p.m. on Sept. 11 in the 1100 block of Tway Lane.
  • Jose Rosa Lopes, 38, of Herndon, was reportedly arrested for alleged drunk in public at 12:36 a.m. on Sept. 10 in the 700 block of Elden Street.
  • The victim reported an unknown make subject peeping in their window at 5:56 p.m. on Sept. 7 in the 700 block of Grace Street.
  • A noise complaint was reported at 12:31 a.m. on Sept. 12 in the 1100 block of Tway Lane.

CENTER DISTRICT

  • The victim reported an unknown subject attempting to climb through their bedroom window. The subject fled the scene at 3:07 a.m. on Sept. 7 in the 1000 block of Alabama Drive.
  • The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 7 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
  • Jason Jacobs, 31, of Herndon, was issued a summons for alleged larceny at 2:06 a.m. on Sept. 8 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
  • An unknown subject attempted to shoplift a bottle of Gatorade from a business at 5:48 p.m. on Sept. 9 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
  • A subject attempted to steal a steak from a business at 4:33 p.m. on Sept. 9 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
  • Michelle Bushrod, 24, of Herndon, was reportedly issued a summons for allegedly concealing merchandise at 7:32 a.m. on Sept. 10 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
  • Three tires on a parked vehicle were reported damaged between 6 p.m. on Sept. 11 and 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 12 in the 1100 block of Alabama Drive.
  • Jose Zetino, 53, of no fixed address, was reportedly arrested for alleged drunk in public at 12:39 p.m. on Sept. 10 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
  • Jose Hernandez, 54, of Herndon, was reportedly issued a summons for allegedly urinating in public at 9:01 p.m. on Sept. 10 in the 1100 block of Elden Street.
  • A noise complaint was reported at 10:25 p.m. on Sept. 11 in the 1200 block of Wilshire Lane.
  • A noise complaint was reported at 11:09 p.m. on Sept. 12 in the 1200 block of Alabama Drive.

OTHER INCIDENTS

  • Town of Herndon Police reported seven incidents of reckless driving, 123 incidents of speeding, eight incidents of no operator's license, four incidents of driving while on a suspended or revoked license and four incidents of expired or no Town of Herndon sticker.
