Herndon Police Report - Sept. 19-25

A resident in the 1000 block of Merlins Court reported a handgun stolen from their home.

Herndon Police reported the following incidents from Sept. 19, 2011 through Sept. 25, 2011:

BRUIN DISTRICT
• A subject threw a wrench through the victim’s windshield as they passed by their vehicle at 4:27 p.m. on Sept. 22 in the 400 block of VanBuren Street.
• The door of a parked vehicle was reported damaged between 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 21 and 11 a.m. on Sept. 22 in the 2100 block of Raven Tower Court.
• A noise complaint was reported at 11:26 p.m. on Sept. 24 in the 400 block of VanBuren Street.
• A noise complaint was reported at 10 a.m. on Sept. 25 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue.
• The victim reported receiving harassing phone calls from an acquaintance at 5:28 p.m. on Sept. 25 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue.

GOLF COURSE DISTRICT
• Manuel Aguilar Pavon, 38, of Herndon, was arrested for alleged drunk in public at 4:02 p.m. on Sept. 22 near the intersection of Crestview Drive and Bond Street.
• A trespassing was reported at 9:57 p.m. on Sept. 21 in the 1000 block of Sterling Road.
• A trespassing was reported at 6:36 p.m. on Sept. 22 in the 1000 block of Sterling Road.

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 10:27 p.m. on Sept. 23 in the 300 block of Hillwood Court.
• Marcus Bushrod, 23, of Herndon, was arrested for alleged grand larceny at 9:24 a.m. on Sept. 24 in the 700 block of VanBuren Street.
• The victim reported their vehicle was entered between 3 and 4 p.m. and a laptop was stolen on Sept. 21 in the 100 block of Elden Street.
• A juvenile subject was found to be intoxicated at 12:19 a.m. on Sept. 24 in the 400 block of Reneau Way.
• Jeremiah Bright, 25, of Herndon, was issued a summons for allegedly urinating in public at 10:19 p.m. on Sept. 19 in the 500 block of Elden Street.
• Ursulo Bueso Bonilla, 29, of Herndon, was issued a summons for allegedly urinating in public at 2:06 a.m. on Sept. 25 in the 600 block of Elden Street.

RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT
• The victim reported their license plate was stolen at 5:13 p.m. on Sept. 19 in the 1100 block of Player Way.
• The victim reported a handgun stolen from their residence at 10:59 p.m. on Sept. 22 in the 1000 block of Merlins Court.
• The mirror of a parked vehicle was reported damaged between 8 p.m. on Sept. 19 and 3 p.m. on Sept. 20 in the 1100 block of Burwick Drive.
• A vehicle was hit by an egg while driving at 9:36 p.m. on Sept. 24 near the intersection of Dranesville Road and Third Street.
• Rene Lopez, 39, of Herndon, was arrested for alleged drunk in public at 9:24 p.m. on Sept. 22 in the 700 block of Lynn Street.
• The victim reported receiving harassing phone calls from an unknown subject at 10:34 a.m. on Sept. 18 in the 1000 block of Hidden Park Place.
• The victim reported receiving harassing text messages from an acquaintance at 9:27 a.m. on Sept. 22 in the 400 block of Madison Street.
• Joaquin Rivera Lopez, 34, of Hernodn, was issued a summons for alleged littering at 1:14 p.m. on Sept. 24 in the 800 block of Ferndale Avenue.

CENTER DISTRICT
• A subject shoplifted alcohol from a business at 4:56 p.m. on Sept. 20 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported their vehicle was entered and an iPhone along with an undisclosed amount of cash was reported stolen at 6:02 p.m. on Sept. 21 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.

OTHER INCIDENTS
• Herndon Police reported the following traffic incidents from Sept. 19-25, 2011: four incidents of reckless driving, 94 incidents of speeding, 16 incidents of no operators license, three incidents of driving while on a suspended or revoked license and 12 incidents of expired or no Town of Herndon sticker.
