Herndon Police Report: Rain Gutter Reported Damaged

A subject broke a rain gutter at a residence in the 400 block of Maple Court on Sept. 15.

The Herndon Police Department reported the following incidents between Sept. 10 and Sept. 16, 2012. The following information was supplied by the Herndon Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. 

BRUIN DISTRICT
• A subject broke the rain gutter on a residence at 8 a.m. on Sept. 15 in the 400 block of Maple Court.
• A 49-year-old Herndon man was arrested for being drunk in public at 8:52 p.m. on Sept. 13 near the intersection of Center and Nash streets.
• A noise complaint was reported at 9:25 p.m. on Sept. 11 in the 600 block of Center Street.
• A trespassing was reported at 8 a.m. on Sept. 15 in the 400 block of Maple Court. 

GOLF COURSE DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 3:25 p.m. on Sept. 16 in the 1200 block of Bond Street.
• The fencing around the back yard of a residence was reported damaged between noon and 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 4 in the 800 block of Spring Knoll Drive.
• The victim reported a male subject watching them inside their residence at 9:52 p.m. on Sept. 16 in the 1300 block of Springtide Place.

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT
• The victim reported their wallet stolen from a business between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Sept. 12 in the 1100 block of Devon Street.
• A 17-year-old Vienna teenager was issued a summons for possession of marijuana at 11:46 p.m. on Sept. 15 in the 200 block of Sunset Park Drive.
• A 34-year-old man of no fixed addressed was arrested for being drunk in public at 8:22 p.m. on Sept. 15 in the 600 block of Elden Street.
• A 32-year-old man with no fixed address was arrested for being drunk in public at 11:53 p.m. on Sept. 15 in the 700 block of Elden Street. 

RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT
• A 19-year-old Herndon man was arrested for assault and abduction at 2:43 p.m. on Sept. 13 in the 400 block of Cavendish Street.
• The victim reported their bicycle was stolen from the front yard of their residence at 11:10 p.m. on Sept. 13 in the 1000 block of Knight Lane.
• A 21-year-old Herndon man was issued a summons for possession of marijuana at 7:47 p.m. on Sept. 15 in the 400 block of Montalto Drive.
• The basement window of a residence was reported damaged at 11:58 a.m. on Sept. 13 in the 1000 block of Stanton Park Court.
• The victim reported wiring money to an unknown subject in order to claim fraudulent lottery winnings at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 12 in the 900 block of Jorss Place.
• A noise complaint was reported at 11:20 p.m. on Sept. 14 in the 1100 block of Clarke Street.

CENTER DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 9:49 p.m. on Sept. 14 in the 1100 block of Alabama Drive.
• A subject shoplifted a bottle of liquor from a business at 1:14 p.m. on Sept. 15 in the 1200 block of Elden Street. 

OTHER INCIDENTS
• A 47-year-old Reston man was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 10:11 p.m. on Sept. 14 in the 200 block of Elden Street.
• A 37-year-old Stafford man was arrested for motor vehicle theft stemming from a January 2012 case at 2:41 p.m. on Sept. 13 in the 300 block of Herndon Parkway.
• The Herndon Police reported the following traffic incidents from Sept. 10-16: one incident of reckless driving, one incident of driving under the influence, eight incidents of speeding, five incidents of no operators license, six incidents of driving while on a suspended or revoked license, and one incident of no or expired Town of Herndon sticker.
