Herndon Police Report - Oct. 17-23

Herndon Police reported that fish tank supplies were stolen from a business

The Herndon Police reported the following incidents from Oct. 17 through Oct. 23, 2011:

BRUIN DISTRICT
• The victim reported their residence was entered and jewelry was stolen between 11:16 a.m. on Sept. 23 and 9 p.m. on Oct. 21 in the 600 block of Legacy Pride Drive.
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 2:18 p.m. on Oct. 22 in the 12000 block of Alton Square.
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 9:05 p.m. on Oct. 22 in the 1200 block of Highcourt Lane.
• Two subjects left a restaurant without paying their bill at 9:07 p.m. on Oct. 19 in the 13000 block of Worldgate Drive.
• The victim reported their vehicle was scratched between 9:07 p.m. on Oct. 16 and 7:07 a.m. on Oct. 17 in the 700 block of Campbell Way.
• The victim reported subjects had walked across their freshly paved driveway at 8:16 a.m. on Oct. 18 in the 500 block of Dakota Drive.
• The victim reported an acquaintance scratched the bumper of their car at 11:44 p.m. on Oct. 22 in the 400 block of Spruce Court.
• The victim reported a subject exposing himself in a locker room at 8:17 p.m. on Oct. 18 in the 13000 block of Worldgate Drive.
• A noise complaint was reported at 2:06 p.m. on Oct. 22 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue.

GOLF COURSE DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 4:11 p.m. on Oct. 23 in the 1200 block of Springtide Place.
• Graffiti was reported found in the area at 9:46 a.m. on Oct. 18 in the 1000 block of Crestview Drive.

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 7:04 p.m. on Oct. 23 in the 300 block of Reneau Way.
• The victim reported an undisclosed amount of money was stolen from their wallet at a business at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 19 in the 400 block of Carlisle Drive.
• Randie Scott, 57, of Lovettsville, was arrested for alleged larceny at 2:43 p.m. on Oct. 20 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• Two subjects stole fish tank products from a business at 1 p.m. on Oct. 20 in the 200 block of Sunset Park Drive.
• Helem Vivanco, 38, of Reston, was issued a summons for alleged larceny at 3:35 p.m. on Oct. 22 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• Riham Dahab, 30, of Reston, was issued a summons for altering price tags at 12:09 p.m. on Oct. 20 in the 400 block of Elden Street.

RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT
• Maximilian Winstead, 20, of Herndon, was arrested for alleged burglary and larceny at 1:52 p.m. on Oct. 21 in the 700 block of Monroe Street.
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 5:06 p.m. on Oct. 22 in the 400 block of Madison Street.
• The victim reported their camera was stolen from their vehicle between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 16 in the 600 block of Dranesville Road.
• The mirror of a parked vehicle was reported damaged between 10 p.m. on Oct. 21 and 9 a.m. on Oct. 22 in the 1100 block of Snead Place.

CENTER DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 8:23 p.m. on Oct. 22 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• Cesear Rodriguez, 51, of Herndon, was arrested for alleged drunk in public at 3:57 p.m. on Oct. 23 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• A subject was observed drinking in public at 11:46 a.m. on Oct. 19 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.

OTHER INCIDENTS
• Richard Walk, 32, of Herndon, was arrested for alleged driving while intoxicated at 8:06 a.m. on Oct. 21 near the intersection of Dranesville Road and Madison Forest Drive.
• Herndon Police reported the following traffic incidents from Oct. 17-23: two incidents of reckless driving, one incident of driving under the influence, 26 incidents of speeding, three incidents of no operators license, two incidents of driving while on a suspended or revoked license and 39 incidents of expired or no Town of Herndon sticker.
