Herndon Police Report - Nov. 7-13

Herndon Police reported a number of vehicles were damaged in a Herndon neighborhood from Nov. 7-13.

Herndon Police reported the following activities from Nov. 7 to Nov. 13, 2011:

BRUIN DISTRICT
• The victim reported having a check and an undisclosed amount of money stolen from their residence at 1:58 p.m. on Nov. 11 in the 400 block of Virginia Avenue.
• The hood of a vehicle was reported dented between 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 6 and 1 p.m. on Nov. 7 in the 12000 block of Alton Square.
• Three subjects reported an unknown subject pushed their motorcycles over between 6:30 p.m. on Nov. l8 and 6 a.m. on Nov. 9 in the 12000 block of Alton Square.
• The windshield of a vehicle was reported smashed between 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 8 and 9:41 a.m. on Nov. 9 in the 12000 block of Aton Square.
• Marco Martinez, 36, of Herndon, was arrested for alleged drunk in public at 2:49 a.m. on Nov. 13 in the 600 block of Center Street.
• George Piper, 44, of McLean, was arrested for alleged drunk in public at 9:51 a.m. on Nov. 13 in the 800 block of Elden Street. 

GOLF COURSE DISTRICT
• Graffiti was found in the area at 1:13 p.m. on Nov. 7 in the 1000 block of Crestview Drive.
• Jose Nunez, 22, of no fixed address, was arrested for alleged drunk in public at 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 9 near the intersection of Autumn Place and Freshrain Court.
• A subject was observed discharging a firearm in a neighborhood. He then fled on foot at 2 p.m. on Nov. 7 in the 1100 block of Autumnhaze Court.
• Jose Ulloa Soriano, 29, of Leesburg, was arrested for allegedly driving on a revoked license at 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 8 in the 1100 block of Crestview Drive.

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by two subjects who attempted to shoplift items from a business at 10:04 p.m. on Nov. 8 near the intersection of Elden Street and Lynn Street.
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 2:38 p.m. on Nov. 11 in the 100 block of Herndon Mill Circle.
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 2:20 a.m. on Nov. 12 in the 200 block of Elden Street.
• The rear windshield of a vehicle was reported smashed at 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 8 in the 100 block of Anthem Avenue.

RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT
• The victim reported their vehicle stolen from outside a residence between 2:35 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Nov. 13 in the 900 block of Park Avenue.
• Gregory Nelson, 41, of Chantilly, was arrested for alleged drunk in public at 8:46 p.m. on Nov. 12 in the 900 block of Barton Oaks Place.
• The victim reported unauthorized charges on their credit card at 2:55 p.m. on Nov. 8 in the 700 block of Lynn Street.

CENTER STREET
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 4:45 p.m. on Nov. 9 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported their laptop stolen from their vehicle between 6 p.m. on Nov. 4 and 6 p.m. on Nov. 7 in the 1100 block of Herndon Parkway.

OTHER INCIDENTS
• Travis Hellwig, 18, of Herndon, was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated at 2:20 a.m. on Nov. 8 in the 800 block of Ferndale Avenue.
• Oscar Juan de Dios, 43, of Herndon, was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated at 1:40 a.m. on Nov. 13 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
• Patrick Murphy, 39, of New York, NY, was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated at 4:24 a.m. on Nov. 13 in the 300 block of Elden Street.
• Alcides Argueta Duran, 45, of Herndon, was arrested on an alleged outstanding warrant at 7:49 a.m. on Nov. 10 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• The Herndon Police reported the following traffic incidents from Nov. 7-13: one incident of reckless driving, three incidents of driving under the influence, 47 incidents of speeding, eight incidents of no operators license, two incidents of driving while on a suspended or revoked license, and six incidents or expired or no Town of Herndon sticker.
