Herndon Police Report - Nov. 21-27

Herndon Police reported 98 incidents of vehicles with an expired or no Town of Herndon sticker from Nov. 21-27.

Herndon Police reported the following incidents from Nov. 21-27, 2011:

BRUIN DISTRICT
• Jorge Reyes, 24, of Herndon, was arrested for alleged assault and drunk in public at 2:40 a.m. on Nov. 21 near the intersection of Herndon Parkway and Palmer Drive.
• A noise complaint was reported at 6:54 p.m. on Nov. 21 in the 2200 block of Westcourt Lane.
• A noise complaint was reported at 10:18 p.m. on Nov. 24 in the 2200 block of Westcourt Lane. 

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT
• A subject attempted to shoplift multiple items from a business at 6:22 p.m. on Nov. 27 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported an unknown subject set up an unauthorized Verizon account under their name at 8:09 p.m. on Nov. 23 in the 300 block of Herndon Parkway.

RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT
• William Barrera Gonzalez, 39, of Herndon, was arrested for alleged assault at 1:12 a.m. on Nov. 25 in the 600 block of Center Street.
• Patrick Brough, 19, of Herndon, was issued a summons for alleged possession of marijuana at 12:11 a.m. on Nov. 26 in the 700 block of Dranesville Road. Additionally, Philip Hambrick, 18, of Herndon, was also issued a summons for alleged possession of marijuana as well as possession of a schedule II narcotic without a prescription at 1:11 a.m. on Nov. 26 in the 700 block of Dranesville Road.
• Two juvenile subjects were observed throwing rocks at a residence at 4:20 p.m. on Nov. 21 in the 200 block of Herndon Station Square. 

CENTER DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 7:56 a.m. on Nov. 21 in near the intersection of Elden Street and Alabama Drive.
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 11:09 a.m. on Nov. 22 in the 1100 block of Elden Street.
• A subject shoplifted medication from a business at 4:18 p.m. on Nov. 26 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
• A subject attempted to shoplift numerous items from a business at 11:45 a.m. on Nov. 27 in the 100 block of Elden Street.

OTHER INCIDENTS
• Tanika Gilliam, 32, of Centreville, was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Loudoun County for alleged fraud at 4:40 p.m. on Nov. 23 near the intersection of Herndon Parkway and Leona Lane.
• William Marshall Jr., 37, of Sterling, was arrested for charges stemming for an alleged bad check case from March 29, 2011 at 4:40 p.m. on Nov. 23 near the intersection of Herndon Parkway and Leona Lane.
• Herndon Police reported the following traffic incidents from Nov. 21-27: 29 incidents of speeding, five incidents of no operators license, two incidents of driving while on a suspended or revoked license, and 98 incidents of expired or no Town of Herndon sticker.
