Herndon Police Report: More Campaign Signs Damaged

The Town of Herndon Police reported the following incidents from Oct. 1 through Oct. 7, 2012. The following information was supplied by the Herndon Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. 

BRUIN DISTRICT
• The victims reported an unknown subject entered their residence between 12:30 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. and took a bag of tools, an undisclosed amount of cash and two laptop computers on Oct. 6 in the 500 block of Center Street.
• The victims reported an unknown subject entered their residence between 9 p.m. on Oct. 5 and 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 6 and a pair of sunglasses and gift cards were reported stolen in the 500 block of Legacy Pride Drive.
• The victim reported their vehicle was entered between 7 p.m. on Oct. 2 and 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 3 and numerous items were reported stolen.
• The victim reported their vehicle was entered between 12:01 a.m. and 10 a.m. and a power drill and ratchet wrench were reported stolen in the 600 block of James Cirone Way.
• The victim reported their vehicle was entered between 11 p.m. on Oct. 5 and 7 a.m. on Oct. 6 and a GPS unit was reported stolen in the 600 block of Calhoun Court.
• A 34-year-old Herndon man was arrested for being drunk in public at 10:55 p.m. on Oct. 5 in the 13000 block of Worldgate Drive.
• A trespassing was reported at 7:09 p.m. on Oct. 1 in the 300 block of Holly Court.
• A noise complaint was reported at 10:02 p.m. on Oct. 5 in the 400 block of Spruce Court. 

GOLF COURSE DISTRICT
• The victim reported their registration stickers stolen from their vehicle at 4:54 p.m. on Oct. 2 in the 1100 block of Autumnhaze Court.
• A 47-year-old Herndon man was issued a summons for an unlicensed dog running at large at 1:14 a.m. on Oct. 5 near the intersection of Herndon Parkway and Bayshire Lane. 

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT
• The victim reported their gas tank was siphoned at 3:40 p.m. on Oct. 3 in the 100 block of Laurel Way.
• The victim reported copper wiring was stolen from the back yard of a residence at 10:38 a.m. on Oct. 6 in the 400 block of Van Buren Street.
• A 36-year-old Herndon man was arrested for being drunk in public and resisting arrest at 8:18 p.m. on Oct. 2 in the 400 block of Elden Street. 

RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT
• The victim reported two necklaces, a bracelet and a watch stolen from their residence between 9 a.m. on Sept. 14 and 8 a.m. on Oct. 2 in the 100 block of Fortnightly Boulevard.
• A juvenile subject was observed damaging a campaign sign in the yard of a residence at 2:56 a.m. on Oct. 4 in the 700 block of Grace Street.
• Four campaign signs in the yard of a residence were damaged between 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 5 and 7 a.m. on Oct. 6 in the 800 block of Elden Street.
• A 19-year-old Herndon man was issued a summons for trespassing at 7:14 a.m. on Oct. 7 in the 1000 block of Kings Court.
• A noise complaint was reported at 2:47 p.m. on Oct. 7 in the 1000 block of Burwick Court. 

CENTER DISTRICT
• A 35-year-old Herndon man was arrested for assault at 1:20 p.m. on Oct. 6 in the 1100 block of Elden Street.
• A 25-year-old Herndon woman was arrested for disorderly conduct at 2:44 p.m. on Oct. 4 in the 1000 block of Elden Street. 

OTHER INCIDENTS
• A 35-year-old Herndon man was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 11:18 p.m. on Oct. 5 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
• A 52-year-old Herndon man was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 1:43 a.m. on Oct. 6 in the 12000 block of Worldgate Drive.
• A 44-year-old Herndon man was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Fairfax County at 9:57 a.m. on Oct. 5 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue.
• The Herndon Police reported the following traffic incidents from Oct. 1-7: one incident of reckless driving, one incident of driving under the influence, five incidents of speeding, one incident of no operators license, and two incidents of driving on a suspended or revoked license.
