Herndon Police Report - March 7-13

The Herndon Police reported the following incidents from March 7-13, 2011:

BRUIN DISTRICT
• Graffiti was reported found in the area at 2:13 p.m. on March 7 in the 600 block of Oak Street.
• Graffiti was reported found in the area at 2:12 p.m. on March 9 in the 12000 block of Alton Square.

GOLF COURSE DISTRICT
• A noise complaint was reported at 11:45 p.m. on March 8 in the 1200 block of Bond Street.
• The victim reported an unknown subject using their social security number to report income to the IRS for tax purposes at 8:42 a.m. on March 11 in the 1300 block of Springtide Place.

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT
• Azieb Woldai, 46, of no fixed address, was arrested for alleged larceny at 11 a.m. on March 7 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• Bernice Wilkerson, 39, of Reston, was arrested for alleged larceny at 2:22 p.m. on March 7 in the 400 block of Elden Street.

RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT
• Walter Oseguera Portillo, 22, of Herndon, was arrested for abduction, robbery, carjacking and assault at 2:07 p.m. on March 8 in the 1100 block of Casper Drive.
• The victim reported an unknown subject entered their residence between midnight and 4:25 a.m. on March 12 and stole a Playstation 3, laptop and desktop computer in the 1100 block of Whitworth Court.
• Arif Butt, 55, of Herndon, was arrested for alleged assault at 12:38 a.m. on March 8 in the 1000 block of Knight Lane.
• Graffiti was reported found in the area at 9:13 a.m. on March 9 in the 700 block of Station Street.
• A noise complaint was reported at 6:40 a.m. on March 9 in the 800 block of Gunnel Court.
• The victim reported wiring money to an unknown subject after seeing a fraudulent Facebook post stating that their friend was in trouble at 2:31 p.m. on March 11 in the 900 block of Barton Oaks Place.
• The victim reported receiving harassing phone calls from an unknown subject at 10:30 a.m. on March 13 in the 1200 block of Bicksler Court.

CENTER DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 9:37 p.m. on March 7 in the 600 block of Dulles Park Court.
• Christine Adbel Shahid, 23, of Herndon, was arrested for alleged assault at 10:47 a.m. on March 11 in the 600block of Dulles Park Court.
• Gaby Awad, 45, of Sterling, and Jamal Dabai, 52, of Herndon, were each issued a summons for alleged possession of marijuana at 1:21 p.m. on March 8 in the 1100 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported their wallet was stolen from a business at 1:20 p.m. on March 4 in the 1000 block of Herndon Parkway.
• A noise complaint was reported at 1:48 a.m. on March 7 in the 1200 block of Magnolia Lane.
• Luis Molina, 38, of Herndon, was issued a summons for allegedly urinating in public at 10:39 a.m. on March 13 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.

OTHER INCIDENTS
• Gary Cooper Jr., 25, of Leesburg, was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated and driving on a revoked license at 1:42 p.m. on March 10 near the intersection of Elden Street and Alabama Drive.
• Ricardo Palomino Doza, 51, of Herndon, was arrested on an alleged outstanding warrant out of Manassas City at 5:15 p.m. on March 10 in the 700 block of Campbell Way.
• Town of Herndon police reported one incident of reckless driving, one incident of driving under the influence, 11 incidents of speeding, seven incidents of no operators license, seven incidents of driving while on a suspended or revoked license, and five incidents of expired or no Town of Herndon sticker.
