Herndon Police Report - March 26-April 1

A Falls Church man was charged with aggravated assault after multiple subjects were stabbed during a fight on March 31 in the 300 block of Linden Court.

The Herndon Police Department reported the following incidents from March 26th through April 1st, 2012: 

BRUIN DISTRICT
• The victim reported being struck in the head with a baseball bat by a subject who then fled the scene at 12:29 a.m. on March 31 near the intersection of Alabama Drive and Arkansas Avenue.
• A 24-year-old Falls Church man was charged with aggravated assault after multiple subjects were stabbed during a fight at 1:15 a.m. on March 31 in the 300 block of Linden Court.
• A group of subjects left a restaurant without paying their bill at 11:17 p.m. on March 26 in the 13000 block of Worldgate Drive.
• The victim reported the windows were damaged on their parked vehicle at 10:53 a.m. on April 1 in the 12000 block of Alton Square.
• The victim reported receiving a threatening phone call from an unknown subject at 10:35 a.m. on March 27 in the 12000 block of Alton Square.
• A noise complaint was reported at 9:39 p.m. on March 29 in the 600 block of James Cirone Way.
• A noise complaint was reported at 11:37 p.m. on March 30 in the 300 block of Linden Court. 

GOLF COURSE DISTRICT
• A 24-year-old Herndon woman was arrested for forgery after signing a summons using a false name at 10:25 p.m. on March 29 near the intersection of Ferndale Avenue and the W&OD Trail.
• The victim reported an unknown subject used their personal information to obtain several credit cards at 3:11 p.m. on April 1 in the 1400 block of Winterland Court.

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 7:51 a.m. on March 29 in the 600 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported their headphones were stolen from their vehicle at 4:31 p.m. on March 27 in the 600 block of Grant Street.
• Two juveniles attempted to shoplift Teck Deck figures from a business at 11:58 a.m. on March 29 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported their credit card was used to purchase food at a restaurant without their knowledge at 6:20 p.m. on March 26 in the 300 block of Spring Street. 

RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT
• Graffiti was reported found in the area at 11:46 a.m. on March 26 in the 700 block of Huntsman Place.
• A 38-year-old Herndon man was arrested for being drunk in public at 11:47 p.m. on march 31 in the 800 block of Elden Street.
• A noise complaint was reported at 7:25 p.m. on March 26 in the 900 block of Branch Drive.

CENTER DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 9:16 p.m. on March 30 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• A 38-year-old Charlottesville woman was arrested for assault at 1:10 a.m. on April 1 in the 1200 block of Wilshire Drive.
• A 41-year-old Herndon man was charged with destruction of property at 9:18 a.m. on March 28 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• Graffiti was reported found in the area at 5:30 p.m. on March 30 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
• A noise complaint was reported at 10:51 p.m. on March 26 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• A noise complaint was reported at 9:13 p.m. on March 31 in the 1200 block of Elden Street. 

OTHER INCIDENTS
• A 26-year-old Ashburn man was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 12:27 a.m. on March 26 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
• Herndon Police reported the following traffic incidents from March 26 to April 1: one incident of reckless driving, one incident of driving under the influence, 23 incidents of speeding, five incidents of no operators license, four incidents of driving while on a suspended or revoked license, and five incidents of expired or no Town of Herndon sticker.
