Herndon Police Report - March 19-25

The Herndon Police Department reported the following incidents from March 19 through March 25, 2012:

BRUIN DISTRICT
• Two Herndon males, ages 18 and 19, were arrested for breaking and entering, destruction of property and grand larceny at 11:37 p.m. on March 25 in the 2100 block of Raven Tower Court. A third Herndon man, 22, was arrested for grand larceny in connection with the incident as well.
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 1:39 a.m. on March 19 in the 600 block of Center Street.
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 5:02 p.m. on March 19 in the 600 block of Center Street.
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 11:31 a.m. on March 22 in the 400 block of Virginia Avenue.
• A 20-year-old man with no fixed address was arrested for possession of marijuana at 8:51 p.m. on March 19 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue.
• The victim reported their cell phone was stolen at 11:55 a.m. on March 20 in the 13000 block of Worldgate Drive.
• A noise complaint was reported at 11:47 a.m. on March 21 in the 2200 block of West Court Lane. 

GOLF COURSE DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by subjects with a tree branch at 11:33 p.m. on March 23 in the 800 block of Ferndale Avenue. The subjects fled the scene prior to police arrival.
• An 18-year-old McLean woman was issued a summons for possession of marijuana at 2:26 a.m. on March 25 in the 1400 block of Sterling Road.
• A noise complaint was reported at 8:33 a.m. on March 24 in the 800 block of Mosby Hollow Road. 

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT
• An 18-year-old Roanoke woman was arrested for malicious bodily injury, an 18-year-old Manassas woman was arrested for assault and another 18-year-old Manassas woman was arrested for accessory before the fact of malicious bodily injury at 9:30 p.m. on March 21 in the 400 block of VanBuren Street.
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 1:05 p.m. on March 21 in the 600 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 10:21 a.m. on March 22 in the 100 block of Laurel Way.
• A subject stole an iPhone 4S from a business at 3:55 p.m. on March 24 in the 300 block of Elden Street.
• An 18-year-old Herndon man was issued a summons for possession of marijuana at 9:41 p.m. on March 23 in the 600 block of Elden Street.
• A 21-year-old Herndon woman and a 22-year-old Reston woman were issued summonses for possession of marijuana at 11:30 p.m. on March 23 in the 200 block of VanBuren Street. 

RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 10:42 a.m. on March 25 in the 1100 block of Monroe Street.
• The victim reported their bicycle stolen from the yard of their residence at 4 p.m. on March 22 in the 800 block of Station Street.
• The victim reported a stroller stolen from the yard of their residence at 7:30 a.m. on March 25 in the 1000 block of Kings Court.
• A 37-year-old Herndon man was arrested for possession of schedule I or II drugs and for violating a protection order at 3:06 p.m. on March 20 in the 1000 block of Park Avenue.
• A 25-year-old Herndon man was arrested for being drunk in public at 4:19 p.m. on March 25 in the 800 block of Park Avenue.
• A noise complaint was reported at 8:30 p.m. on March 25 in the 1000 block of Saber Lane. 

CENTER DISTRICT
• A 34-year-old Herndon man was arrested for assault and larceny at 8:13 a.m. on March 23 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported their bicycle stolen from the front of their apartment building at 8:14 a.m. on March 20 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported their cell phone and iPod were stolen at 6:34 p.m. on March 22 in the 1200 block of Magnolia Lane.
• The victim reported their iPhone 4S stolen from inside a business at 1:55 p.m. on March 25 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
• The window of a business was broken with a cinder block between 8 p.m. on March 24 and 9:30 a.m. on March 25 in the 1100 block of Elden Street. 

OTHER INCIDENTS
• A 36-year-old Herndon man was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 1:27 p.m. on March 19 in the 700 block of Dranesville Road.
• Herndon Police reported the following traffic incidents from March 19-25: four incidents of reckless driving, one incident of driving under the influence, 51 incidents of speeding, four incidents of no operators license, one incident of driving while on a suspended or revoked license, and 24 incidents of expired or no Town of Herndon sticker.
