Herndon Police Report - March 14-20

Herndon Police reported a person attempted to shoplift hair dye this week

Town of Herndon Police reported the following incidents from March 14 -20, 2011:

BRUIN DISTRICT
• Ronnie McCray, 50, of Arlington, was arrested for alleged drunk in public at 2:27 p.m. on March 15 in the 600 block of Center Street.
• The victim reported an unknown subject trying to get into their residence at 1:03 a.m. on March 20 in the 2100 block of Raven Tower Court. A door was reported damaged.
• The second story window of a residence was reported damaged at 9:02 p.m. on March 20 in the 700 block of Palmer Drive.
• A mailbox post was reported damaged at 9:23 p.m. on March 20 in the 700 block of Palmer Drive.

GOLF COURSE DISTRICT
• A vehicle was broken into between 7 p.m. on March 18 and 1:24 a.m. on March 19 and an iPod was reported stolen near the intersection of Bond Street and Shannon Place.
• A vehicle was broken into and an undisclosed amount of money was reported stolen at 9:12 a.m. on March 19 in the 1300 block of Wexford Court.
• A vehicle was entered between 10 p.m. on March 18 and 10 a.m. on March 19 and a purse was reported stolen in the 900 block of Elden Street.
• The front window of a residence was reported damaged between 7 a.m. and 11:50 p.m. on March 20 in the 1100 block of Dublin Place.

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 6:13 p.m. on March 19 in the 700 block of Grant Street.
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 8:30 p.m. on March 20 in the 100 block of Elden Street.
• Larissa Taran, 49, of Vienna, was arrested for alleged shoplifting at 2:09 p.m. on March 14 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• A vehicle was broken into between 10 p.m. on March 15 and 7:26 a.m. on March 16 and a cell phone was reported stolen in the 400 block of Old Dominion Avenue.
• Regina Tarante, 45, of Reston, was issued a summons for alleged larceny at 3:11 p.m. on March 16 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• Gwen Victor, 48, of Herndon, was issued a summons for alleged larceny at 10:55 a.m. on March 17 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported an undisclosed amount of money was stolen from them by an acquaintance at 10 p.m. on March 18 in the 400 block of Herndon Parkway.
• The victim reported their iPhone was stolen from a business between 8 p.m. and 8:20 p.m. on March 18 in the 100 block of Spring Street.
• Michaela Moore, 30, of Reston, was arrested for alleged shoplifting at 4 p.m. on March 20 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported their credit card that had been stolen out of Fairfax County had been used at a business in the town of Herndon at 3:06 p.m. on March 14 in the 600 block of Elden Street.
• A subject attempted to drop off multiple fraudulent prescriptions at a pharmacy at 10:47 a.m. on March 18 in the 400 block of Elden Street.

RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT
• Colleen Flynn, 26, of Herndon, was arrested for alleged possession of heroin, possession of Xanax, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence at 2:46 p.m. on March 18 in the 1100 block of Grant Street.
• A vehicle was broken into between midnight and 6:58 a.m. on March 20 in and a CD was reported stolen in the 800 block of Locust Street.
• The rear driver’s side door of a parked vehicle was reported damaged between 6 p.m. on March 16 and 8:27 a.m. on March 17 in the 900 block of Park Avenue.
• The victim reported an unknown subject making unauthorized purchases on their credit card at 2:6 p.m. on March 17 in the 1200 block of Bicksler Court.

CENTER DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance who stole their soccer cleats and fled the scene at 5:30 p.m. on March 18 in the 1200 block of Alabama Drive.
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 11 p.m. on March 16 in the 1300 block of Dulles Place.
• Dwayne Harvey, 39, of Herndon, was arrested for alleged assault at 12:50 a.m. on Mach 17 in the 1200 block of Magnolia Lane.
• The victim reported being assaulted by several unknown subjects at 4:45 p.m. on March 17 in the 700 block of Center Street.
• Santiago Paiz Herrera, 40, of no fixed address, was arrested for alleged drunk in public at 7:03 p.m. on March 16 in the 1100 block of Elden Street.
• Luis Molina, 38, of Herndon, was arrested for alleged drunk in public at 11:29 a.m. on March 17 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• A subject attempted to shoplift hair dye from a business at 3:55 p.m. on Mach 20 in the 1000 block of Elden Street. 
• A trespassing was reported at 11:13 a.m. on March 17 in the 1100 block of Elden Street.

OTHER INCIDENTS
• AnnMarie Venticinque, 48, of Shelby Township, MI, was arrested for alleged driving while intoxicated at 9:37 p.m. on March 17 in the 800 block of Elden Street.
• Jonathan Keenan, 20, of Ireland, was arrested for alleged driving while intoxicated at 1:17 a.m. on March 18 near the intersection of Jonquil Lane and Herndon Mill Circle.
• Charles Callahan III, 30, of Fairfax, was arrested for alleged driving while intoxicated at 1:53 a.m. on March 18 in the 1000 block of Sterling Road.
• Brooks Read, 29, of Reston, was arrested for alleged driving while intoxicated at 2:19 a.m. on March 18 in the 1000 block of Sterling Road.
• Guy McCombs III, 30, of Vienna, was arrested on alleged outstanding warrants out of Falls Church at 2:46 p.m. on March 18 in the 1100 block of Grant Street.
• Herndon Police reported four incidents of driving under the influence, 37 incidents of speeding eight incidents of no operators license, six incidents of driving while on a suspended or revoked license and six incidents of expired or no Town of Herndon sticker.
