Herndon Police Report: Mailbox Stolen on April Way

The Herndon Police Department reported the following incidents from Aug. 6 through Aug. 12, 2012. The following information was supplied by the Herndon Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. 

BRUIN DISTRICT
• The victim reported a bicycle stolen from their garage between 8 p.m. on Aug. 7 and 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 8 in the 700 block of Lions Pride Drive.
• The window of a parked car was reported smashed between 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 6 and 7 a.m. on Aug. 7 in the 700 block of Palmer Drive.
• Graffiti was reported found in the area at 9:44 a.m. on Aug. 9 in the 500 block of Bowers Lane.
• The windshield of a parked car was reported damaged at 7:08 p.m. on Aug. 10 in the 700 block of Herndon Woods Court. 
• An 18-year-old Herndon man was arrested for being drunk in public at 11:10 p.m. on Aug. 11 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue.
• A noise complaint was reported at 1:51 a.m. on Aug. 12 in the 700 block of Archer Court. 

GOLF COURSE DISTRICT
• A 40-year-old Herndon man was arrested for possession of cocaine and for being drunk in public at 10:12 p.m. on Aug. 12 in the 1000 block of Sterling Road.
• The victim reported their mailbox was stolen from outside their residence between 11 p.m. on Aug. 9 and 1 a.m. on Aug. 10 in the 1300 block of April Way.
• A subject fled from a taxi without paying their cab fare at 9:49 a.m. on Aug. 11 in the 1100 block of Crestview Drive.
• Graffiti was reported found in the area at 1:25 p.m. on Aug. 8 in the 1200 block of Herndon Parkway. 

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT
• A 29-year-old Springdale, AR woman was issued a summons for concealing merchandise at 7:08 p.m. on Aug. 11 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• A 31-year-old man with no fixed address was arrested for being drunk in public at 9:01 p.m. on Aug. 6 near the intersection of Elden Street and Herndon Parkway.
• A trespassing was reported at 7 a.m. on Aug. 12 in the 400 block of Herndon Parkway. 

RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT
• The victim reported their iTouch missing from inside their residence at 6 p.m. on Aug. 11 in the 1000 block of Kings Court.
• The victim reported their bicycle was stolen from a garage between 7 a.m. on Aug. 6 and 2 p.m. on Aug. 12 in the 200 block of Meeting House Station Square.
• A property manager reported damage to the window and drywall of a residence at 3:02 p.m. on Aug. 6 in the 1000 block of Stanton Park Court.
• The flower boxes outside a business were reported damaged at 2:22 p.m. on Aug. 8 in the 700 block of Pine Street.
• A 35-year-old man with no fixed address was arrested for being drunk in public and disorderly conduct at 3:29 p.m. on Aug. 8 near the intersection of Elden and Grace streets.
• A 30-year-old Herndon man, a 32-year-old Herndon man, a 26-year-old Herndon man, a 40-year-old Sterling man, a 34-year-old Herndon man, a 39-year-old Herndon man, and an 18-year-old Herndon man were all issued summonses for trespassing at 8:46 p.m. on Aug. 8 in the 900 block of Third Street.
• A 46-year-old Herndon woman was arrested for grand larceny and a 26-year-old Herndon man and 22-year-old Herndon woman were arrested for receiving stolen goods at 2:50 a.m. on Aug. 11 in the 1000 block of Burwick Drive.
• A noise complaint was reported at 3:17 a.m. on Aug. 11 in the 800 block of Elden Street. 

CENTER DISTRICT
• A trespassing was reported at 11:22 a.m. on Aug. 7 in the 1100 block of Elden Street.
• A trespassing was reported at 10 p.m. on Aug. 7 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported receiving harassing phone calls from an unknown subject at 8 p.m. on Aug. 12 in the 1000 block of Elden Street. 

OTHER INCIDENTS
• A 35-year-old Herndon man was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 3:39 a.m. on Aug. 6 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• A 26-year-old Reston woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 3:55 a.m. on Aug. 11 in the 900 block of Elden Street.
• Herndon Police reported the following traffic incidents from Aug. 6-12: two incidents of driving under the influence, 20 incidents of speeding, three incidents of no operators license, one incident of driving while on a suspended or revoked license, and eight incidents of expired or no Town of Herndon sticker.
