The suspect went to the store THREE times for Hurricane beer! If it was known that he/she shop lifted during the first visit, how come he/she was able to enter the store twice again? Hurricane beer and PeanutButter cups / Some diet!!!

I know! Really strange. Maybe the clerk only noticed the last time and when they looked at security video they saw it had been ongoing.

And why is this headline news? Every time I read this I just laugh out loud for 20 minutes. Why do they list the brand names? I need to send this to Jay Leno's Headlines...

We post the police report every week, and have done so since Herndon Patch was launched in Sept. 2010. We also always published the weekly police report at the Herndon Observer when I worked there. And I like to include a tidbit about the most amusing or strange thing in the list just to make it a little more fun. :) There's been years where there was so many strange police report items that at the end of the year I did a roundup of strange police report items. I'm pretty sure I'll do another this year. http://herndon.patch.com/articles/ten-strangest-items-stolen-in-herndon-in-2010
