Herndon Police Report: Grease Dumpster Reported Stolen

The Herndon Police Department reported the following incidents from Aug. 27 through Sept. 2, 2012. The following information was supplied by the Herndon Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction. 

BRUIN DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 27 in the 13000 block of Worldgate Drive.
• A 47-year-old Herndon man was arrested for assault at 2:57 p.m. on Aug. 30 in the 600 block of Herndon Parkway.
• A 21-year-old Sterling man was issued a summons for possession of marijuana at 10:25 p.m. on Aug. 30 in the 400 block of Virginia Avenue.
• A 23-year-old man with no fixed address was arrested for driving without a license at 9:18 a.m. on Aug. 27 in the 800 block of Alabama Drive.
• A noise complaint was reported at 12:18 a.m. on Sept. 2 in the 800 block of Sycamore Court. 

GOLF COURSE DISTRICT
• A 39-year-old Herndon man was arrested for assault at 9:16 a.m. on Sept. 2 in the 1200 block of Springtide Place.
• A section of fencing surrounding a pool was reported damaged at 1:05 p.m. on Aug. 30 in the 1200 block of Herndon Parkway.
• A 27-year-old Herndon man was arrested for being drunk in public at 12:29 a.m. on Sept. 2 in the 1200 block of Springtide Place. 

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT
• A business was broken into and the cash register, an undisclosed amount of cash, and beauty supplies were reported stolen at 3:13 a.m. on Aug. 27 in the 600 block of Monroe Street.
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 11:59 p.m. on Aug. 28 in the 400 block of Reneau Way.
• The victim reported their grease dumpster was stolen between 11:17 a.m. on July 26 and 11:17 a.m. on Aug. 20 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• A juvenile subject attempted to shoplift miscellaneous items from a business at 4:25 p.m. on Aug. 30 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• A 35-year-old Herndon man was arrested for larceny at 7 p.m. on Sept. 1 in the 400 block of Elden Street. 

RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 5:34 p.m. on Aug. 28 in the 1000 block of Queens Court.
• The victim reported being assaulted by unknown subjects at 2:10 a.m. on Sept. 2 in the 1000 block of Queens Court.
• The victim reported the tires on their parked vehicle were slashed at 10:09 p.m. on Aug. 29 in the 1000 block of Queens Court.
• A 34-year-old Herndon man was arrested for possession of fraudulent identification at 7:55 p.m. on Aug. 27 in the 600 block of Spring Street.
• A noise complaint was reported at 11:37 p.m. on Sept. 1 in the 900 block of Branch Drive. 

CENTER DISTRICT
• The victim reported their year registration stickers stolen from their parked vehicle between 11 p.m. on Sept. 1 and 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 2 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• A 36-year-old Herndon man was arrested for public intoxication at 7:38 p.m. on Aug. 31 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• A noise complaint was reported at 1:15 a.m. on Aug. 27 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• A trespassing was reported at 9:05 a.m. on Aug. 30 in the 600 block of Dulles Park Court.
• The victim reported being harassed by an acquaintance at 7:37 p.m. on Aug. 31 in the 1200 block of Elden Street. 

OTHER INCIDENTS
• A 47-year-old Herndon man was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 10:43 p.m. on Aug. 28 in the 1200 block of Sterling Road.
• A 24-year-old Gaithersburg, MD man was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 2:12 a.m. on Sept. 1 in the 800 block of Elden Street.
• A 48-year-old Oakton man was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 2:03 a.m. on Sept. 2 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• A 37-year-old Sterling man was arrested for driving while intoxicated at 4:45 p.m. on Sept. 2 in the 1100 block of Crestview Drive.
• Herndon Police reported the following traffic incidents from Aug. 27 to Sept. 2: one incident of reckless driving, four incidents of driving under the influence, 44 incidents of speeding, seven incidents of no operators license, four incidents of driving while on a suspended or revoked license, and 10 incidents of expired or no Town of Herndon sticker.
