Herndon Police Report - Feb. 13-19

The Town of Herndon Police Department reported the following incidents from Feb. 13 to Feb. 19, 2012:

BRUIN DISTRICT
• Kamron Alborz, 29, of Reston, was arrested for alleged assault at 10:28 p.m. on Feb. 14 in the 13000 block of Worldgate Drive.
• Graffiti was reported found in the area at 3:19 p.m. on Feb. 14 in the 800 block of Nash Street.
• A noise complaint was reported at 3:59 p.m. on Feb. 14 in the 600 block of Center Street. 

GOLF COURSE DISTRICT
• Norman Dixon, 52, of Centreville, was arrested for alleged malicious wounding after an assault on an acquaintance two days prior at 9:36 p.m. on Feb. 19 near the intersection of Herndon Parkway and Summerfield Drive.
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 10:26 p.m. on Feb. 19 in the 1100 block of Autumnhaze Court.
• Light bulbs inside a maintenance shed were reported broken at 11:37 a.m. on Feb. 17 in the 1200 block of Herndon Parkway. 

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT
• The victim reported an acquaintance attempted to assault them at 7:23 p.m. on Feb. 19 in the 200 block of Elden Street.
• A business reported an ongoing theft of merchandise at 5:22 p.m. on Feb. 18 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported their bicycle was stolen between 5 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. on Feb. 18 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported the door to their office was damaged at 9:52 a.m. on Feb. 17 in the 200 block of Elden Street.
• A juvenile subject was found to have consumed alcohol at 10:25 p.m. on Feb. 18 in the 100 block of Spring Street.  

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT
• The victim reported an acquaintance attempted to assault them at 7:23 p.m. on Feb. 19 in the 200 block of Elden Street.
• A business reported an ongoing theft of merchandise at 5:22 p.m. on Feb. 18 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported their bicycle was stolen between 5 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. on Feb. 18 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported the door to their office was damaged at 9:52 a.m. on Feb. 17 in the 200 block of Elden Street.
• A juvenile subject was found to have consumed alcohol at 10:25 p.m. on Feb. 18 in the 100 block of Spring Street. 

RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT
• Graffiti was reported found in the area at 9:36 p.m. on Feb. 13 in the 700 block of Lynn Street.
• The victim reported the door of their residence was damaged at 11 p.m. on Feb. 18 in the 900 block of Branch Drive.
• A noise complaint was reported at 9:06 p.m. on Feb. 18 in the 900 block of Barton Oaks Place.
• A noise complaint was reported at 8:11 p.m. on Feb. 19 in the 800 block of Branch Drive. 

CENTER DISTRICT
• The victim reported an unknown subject using their information for tax purposes at 2:56 p.m. on Feb. 15 in the 1200 block of Alabama Drive.
• A trespassing was reported at 4:36 p.m. on Feb. 15 in the 1100 block of Elden Street. 

OTHER INCIDENTS
• Kenneth Baker, 45, of Herndon, was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated at 11:25 p.m. on Feb. 17 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
• Jose Franco, 37, of Herndon, was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated at 1:01 a.m. on Feb. 19 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
• Herndon Police reported the following traffic incidents from Feb. 13-19: one incident of reckless driving, two incidents of driving under the influence, 40 incidents of speeding, nine incidents of no operators license, four incidents of driving on a suspended or revoked license, and 13 incidents of expired or no Town of Herndon sticker.
