Herndon Police Report - Dec. 19-25

The Herndon Police reported four incidents of driving while on a suspended or revoked license.

 The Herndon Police reported the following incidents from Dec. 19 through Dec. 25, 2011:

BRUIN DISTRICT
• The victims reported that an unknown subject entered their residence between 12:30 and 12:45 p.m. on Dec. 21 and took a camcorder, a laptop and medication in the 800 block of Nash Street.
• The victim reported the windshield of their vehicle was smashed between 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 22 and 5:58 a.m. on Dec. 23 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue.
• the victim reported depositing an undisclosed amount of money into an account for airline tickets but the tickets were never provided at 11:38 a.m. on Dec. 19 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue.
• The victim reported receiving harassing phone calls from an acquaintance at 5:48 p.m. on Dec. 20 in the 2100 block of Wordsworth Court. 

GOLF COURSE DISTRICT
• Ali Russell, 21, of Herndon, was arrested for allegedly driving on a suspended license at 2:15 p.m. on Dec. 25 near the intersection of Herndon Parkway and Crosstitch Drive.

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT
• The victim reported driving two subjects to a parking lot to drop them off and one of the subjects pointed a gun at him and stole his wallet prior to fleeing the scene at 1:53 a.m. on Dec. 24 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• Brenden Erickson, 18, of Herndon, was issued a summons for alleged possession of marijuana at 1:53 a.m. on Dec. 24 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• Natalia Fernando, 26, of Herndon, was arrested for alleged larceny at 11:52 p.m. on Dec. 23 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• Salvador Torres, 26, of Langley Park, MD, was issued a summons for alleged concealment of merchandise at 6:24 p.m. on Dec. 24 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• Graffiti was reported found in the area at 4 p.m. on Dec. 23 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• A trespassing was reported at 1:35 p.m. on Dec. 21 in the 400 block of Spring Street.
• A trespassing was reported at 11:16 a.m. on Dec. 23 in the 100 block of Laurel Way. 

RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT
• Michael Cominsky, 18, of Herndon, was issued a summons for alleged possession of marijuana at 12:45 a.m. on Dec. 24 in the 700 block of Dranesville Road.
• The victim reported their license plate stolen from their vehicle between 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 17 and 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 20 in the 900 block of Branch Drive.
• Michael Newell, 19, of Reston, was issued a summons for alleged underage possession of alcohol at 12:45 a.m. on Dec. 24 in the 700 block of Dranesville Road.

CENTER DISTRICT
• Jose Lainez Rivera, 36, of Herndon, was arrested for alleged assault at 3:17 p.m. on Dec. 22 in the 1000 block of Alabama Drive.
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 4:43 p.m. on Dec. 24 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• Ernesto Hernandez Garcia, 41, of Herndon, was arrested for allegedly being drunk in public at 9:29 p.m. on Dec. 22 in the 1100 block of Elden Street.
• Marian Acuna, 18, and Julio Rodas, 18, both of Herndon, were arrested for allegedly being drunk in public at 7:58 p.m. on Dec. 23 in the 1100 block of Autumnhaze Court.
• A noise complaint was reported at 12:47 a.m. on Dec. 23 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported a subject showed them a gun was in their waistband after a traffic incident at 5:44 p.m. on Dec. 23 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• A noise complaint was reported at 3:27 a.m. on Dec. 25 in the 1200 block of Elden Street. 

OTHER INCIDENTS
• Christopher Cooke, 33, of Wesley Chapel, FL, was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Chesterfield County for alleged failure to pay spousal support at 3:03 p.m. on Dec. 25 in the 1300 block of Grant Street.
• Herndon Police reported the following traffic incidents from Dec. 19-25: 16 incidents of speeding, five incidents of no operators license, four incidents of driving while on a suspended or revoked license, and 16 incidents of expired or no Town of Herndon sticker.
