Herndon Police reported the following incidents from Aug 1-7, 2011:
BRUIN DISTRICT
• A Virginia inspection sticker was reported stolen from an unsecured vehicle at 1 p.m. on August 1 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue.
GOLF COURSE DISTIRCT
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 5:03 p.m. on Aug. 2 in the 1100 block of Autumnhaze Court.

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT
• A subject made several threatening phone calls to a former employer at 3:05 p.m. on Aug. 4 in the 500 block of Spring Street.
• Jason Leamnson, 38, of Reston, was arrested for alleged shoplifting at 7:45 p.m. on Aug. 1 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• A subject attempted to deposit two fraudulent checks into a bank account at 4:25 p.m. on Aug. 2 in the 200 block of Spring Street.
• Credit card fraud was reported at 11:58 a.m. on Aug. 5 in the 700 block of Elden Street.
• Andrea Waters, 40, of Herndon, was arrested for alleged shoplifting at 2:25 p.m. on Aug. 6 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT
• A telescope attachment was reported stolen at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 4 in the 200 block of Herndon Station Square.
• Rolando Portillo, 38, of Herndon, was arrested for alleged assault at 7:10 p.m. on Aug. 1 in the 800 block of Park Avenue.

CENTER DISTRICT
• Erguin Rivera, 41, of Herndon, was arrested for alleged drunk in public at 9:25 p.m. on Aug. 3 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
• A male subject attempted to shoplift several packages of beef at 1:33 p.m. on Aug. 2 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• Terrance Hiles Jr., 42, was charged with alleged possession of marijuana at 2:14 p.m. on Aug. 4 in the 1000 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported being assaulted by an acquaintance at 2:51 p.m. on Aug. 4 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
OTHER INCIDENTS
• Herndon Police reported the following traffic incidents: 28 incidents of speeding, six incidents of no operators license, four incidents of driving while on a suspended or revoked license, and 16 incidents of expired or no Town of Herndon sticker.
