The vehicle that hit Park did not stop. The impact broke off the car’s rooftop taxi light, which was later found at the scene. Friends of Park who were in the BMW described the hit-and-run vehicle as a white sedan. Based on other evidence from the scene, police believe the taxi is a Ford Crown Victoria that was originally burgundy or maroon and was repainted white.

Police ask anyone with information relating to the incident or the taxi to call the Virginia State Police Fairfax Division at 703-803-0026. The crash remains under investigation.
