Crime Report: Business Robbed, But Police Recognize Suspects on Security Video

Plus, a woman reports she may have been touched inappropriately by a doctor.

The following incidents were reported by the Town of Herndon Police. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Sept. 21 - Possible Sex Offense: An adult victim reported she may have been touched inappropriately by a physician during an examination. The incident occurred in the 700 block of Grant Street. An investigation is ongoing.

Sept. 30 - Burglary of Business: 
Around 5 a.m., two suspects broke into a business in the 700 block of Lynn Street, and stole several items. Upon reviewing the business' security camera, police recognized both of the suspected robbers. The suspects are both minors - one is age 15, and one age 16. 

Police obtained warrants for charges of burglary, destruction of property, petit larceny, possession of alcoholic beverages by a person under age 21, and possession of tobacco by a person under age 18. 

Both juveniles were taken into custody later that day and taken to the Fairfax County Juvenile Detention Center.

Sept. 30 - Robbery: A juvenile victim reported being robbed by two people he knew in the 700 block of Palmer Drive. Both suspects are juveniles and were later identified by patrol officers. Juvenile petitions for robbery are on file for both suspects.

Oct. 6 - Aggravated Assault: A victim was stabbed with a sharp object by a known associate in the 600 block of Alabama Drive. The injury was minor and the victim refused to be transported to the hospital. Alcohol was a factor in the incident for both parties. An investigation is ongoing.
