Despite the questionable looking skies, the weather held out and everyone enjoyed a wonderful day of golf and friendship with members of our community.

Together with the support of our sponsors and participants, we were able to bring in more than $19,906 to the FOP to assist in funding these programs.

The team from Virginia Eagle Distributing, under the leadership of Mike Lewis, took home the trophy this year, posting an impressive score of 16 under par.

The second place team, at 13 under par, was made up of local guys Patrick Finney, John Guidi, Brandon Cigna and Rob Hardesty.

The Greater Herndon FOP Lodge #64 would like to give a big thank-you to the more than 90 people that came out to support this great event.

In addition, we would like to give a huge thank-you to Gene Fleming, Julie Whitehead, Jeff Johnson from JJ’s Deli, and the entire staff at Herndon Centennial Golf Course for making this such a wonderful event.

This event would not have been possible without the support of local community and business leaders. A special thank-you to Timothy Allen, Chris Pauly of Gutterman Services, Dave Morey from M&M Print, Louis Matsikas from Capital Cuisine Caterers, and the good folks at O’Faolain’s Irish Pub, who helped make this event possible.

Last but not least, thank you to Mayor Lisa Merkel and Virginia Delegate Tom Rust for coming out to support these great causes and lend their unwavering support in our goal of helping those here in our community.

We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
