Firefighters Quickly Squash Morning Fire at Herndon Home
The fire broke out in the bedroom of a home in Herndon.
Fairfax County Fire and Rescue responded to a fire around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday morning in the county area of Herndon.
According to Dan Schmidt of the Fire and Rescue Department, firefighters at the scene found a "bedroom fire" at the home located at 410 Spruce Court.
Schmidt said the fire was stamped out quickly, in about 10 minutes.
There were no injuries.
Schmidt said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
