'Disappeared' to Air Show on Missing Mother Bethany Decker

Investigation Discovery will air a show on missing mother Bethany Decker.

Update: The show was very informative. If you missed it, try catching a rerun.

Investigation Discovery will broadcast a show Monday evening on missing Ashburn mother Bethany Ann Decker, a student at George Mason University who has been missing since January 2011.

The Soldier's Wife, part of the "Disappeared" series, airs at 10 p.m. Monday evening, Nov. 26. The episode will touch on the events surrounding Decker's disappearance last year.

Decker, 21 at the time of her disappearance, was five months pregnant when she was last seen on Jan. 29, 2011, at the apartment she was planning to move out of. She had just returned a few weeks earlier from a trip with her estranged husband (a soldier in the National Guard) and child (who is now three years old). She lived in Ashburn with Ronald Roldan, of Centreville, who investigators said is the last known person to have seen Decker. She vanished seemingly without a trace: there has been no activity on her bank accounts, cell phone or email. Investigators said that she did not leave the country.

On Feb. 19, 2011, her grandparents found her car at the apartment, and reported her missing. Authorities have not identified a suspect or a crime related to Decker.

I agree, He was a jealous controlling man. As I recall she was last seen coming back from visiting her grandparents and she was returning from a trip from Hawaii with her husband. That trip with her husband is what probably set him off. I can’t believe the police haven’t found anything to link him to her being missing.

Nothing in the show was said as to whether the apartment Bethany and Ronald were living in was checked as far as forensics, only that Ronald had already moved out back to his mothers' by the time she was reported missing. I still don't understand how NO ONE in this girls life reported her missing for 21 days, especially since they knew about the very abusive behavior of Ronald and knowing he was living with her.

I also wanted to mention that nothing was stated about who her son was staying/living with while she was with Ronald. (other than her mother watching him) I don't see how they would allow the son to be around such an abusive man.
