A 22-year-old Herndon man has been arrested for “sex offenses against a 14-year-old female,” Herndon Police said this week.
The man has been identified as Samuel Rivera Menjivar of Herndon.
Menjivar was arrested at 6:25 p.m. on June 22 in the 1200 block of Magnolia Lane.

Herndon Police Lt. Jim Moore said it appears Menjivar and the 14-year-old girl have been having sex on numerous occasions, and that the relationship appears to have been consensual.
Moore said, recently, Menjivar was "finally caught" and turned in, most likely by the girl's parents.

Menjivar has been charged with three counts each of carnal knowledge of a child between the ages of 13 and 15, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
