BURGLARY, 6000 block of Centreville Crest Lane, 5/16/14. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.

ROBBERY
, 4100 block of Meadowland Court, 5/17/14, 11:27 p.m. Two men and a woman were talking in a parking lot when they were approached by two suspects. One of the suspects displayed a handgun and both suspects took property from the victims. There were no injuries. Both suspects were described as black males, 18-20, about 6 feet 3 inches tall with a thin builds.

, 13800 block of Laura Ratcliff Court, 5/22/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

Mount Vernon District

BURGLARY, 7700 block of Richmond Highway, 5/17/14. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.

ROBBERY, 2400 block of Midtown Avenue, 5/15/14. A teenaged boy and two adults were arrested for robbing a man of his cell phones and wallet. Officers were initially called for a trespassing. Further investigation determined the three suspects robbed a 43-year-old man as he walked home. The three suspects provided false identification to the officers but their real identities were determined. Michael Johnson, 20, of Washington, D.C., James Chambers, 20, of Washington, D.C., and a 16-year-old boy from Washington, D.C., were each charged with robbery, forgery and providing false identity to police.

BURGLARY, 7800 block of Crane Place, 5/19/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

ROBBERY, 7400 block of Vernon Square Drive, 5/15/14. A man was robbed by two suspects while walking on a pathway behind an apartment complex. The two suspects brandished a handgun and took cash and debit cards from the victim. The first suspect was described as a black male, 17-22, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 200 pounds. The second suspect was described as a black male, 17-23, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighing about 170 pounds.

BURGLARY, 2600 block of Arlington Drive, 5/20/14. A resident reported someone entered the apartment and took property.

BURGLARY, 7800 block of Richmond Highway, 5/21/14. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.

McLean District

BURGLARY, 2600 block of Avenir Place, 5/20/14. A resident reported someone entered the apartment and took property.

ROBBERY ATTEMPT, Dover Lane/Lee Highway, 5/20/14, 6:39 p.m. A man was walking when he was approached by three suspects in a car. The suspect driver displayed a handgun and demanded cash. The victim fled before giving anything to the suspects. There were no injuries. The suspects were described as Hispanic males, 18-25, in a dark colored four-door sedan.

Mason District

ASSAULT/ARREST, 5/20/14. Detectives charged Jabar Medley, 21 of Oxon Hill with eight counts of assault and battery on Tuesday, May 20. Police identified the suspect on May 6 after a series of three separate assault incidents took place that night in the Seven Corners area. In each of the cases, the suspect approached and grabbed the victims from behind. Patrol officers came across the man who matched the description in the shopping center parking lot, and charged him with one count that night. Additional charges were placed today.

ROBBERY, 5700 block of Columbia Pike, 5/20/14, 8:43 p.m. A man entered a fast food restaurant and handed a note demanding cash to an employee. The suspect took cash and fled. There were no injuries. The suspect was described as black, 30s, about 6 feet 2 inches to 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing around 200 pounds.

Reston District

BURGLARY, 2400 block of Southgate Square, 5/18/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

Franconia District

ROBBERY, 6300 Springfield Plaza, 5/15/14. An employee of the Verizon Wireless store was robbed by a suspect after the store closed, taking numerous cell phones. The victim did not require medical treatment. The suspect was described as a black male, 20 to 25 years old. He was about 5 feet 7 inches tall with black hair.

West Springfield District

BURGLARY, 7700 block of Donnybrook Court, 5/19/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.


Animal Control Division

ANIMAL BITE, 7800 block of Bristow Drive, 5/16/14, 3:52 p.m. A man was walking on the sidewalk when a beagle bit him on the lower body. The victim received a minor injury. The dog was routinely quarantined.
