The department notes the data represents what responding officers are determining through preliminary investigation. Further investigation may find no crime occurred or that the circumstances were different than first determined.

CHECKPOINT, Old Keene Mill Road/Rolling Road, 5/23/14. Officers conducted a DWI checkpoint searching for drunk drivers. Five-hundred-forty-one vehicles passed through. One driver was charged with DWI. Eighteen summonses were issued.
DIRECTED PATROL, 5/23/14. Officers from the Operational Support Bureau patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. Five drivers were charged with DWI. Fifty-one summonses were issued.

DIRECTED PATROL, 5/23/14. Officers from the Criminal Justice Academy patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. Four drivers were charged with DWI.
DIRECTED PATROL, 5/24/14. Officers from the Operational Support Bureau patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. Three drivers were charged with DWI. Twenty-two summonses were issued.

DIRECTED PATROL, 5/24/14. Officers from the Mount Vernon District Station patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. No drivers were charged with DWI. Ten summonses and eight warnings were issued.
DIRECTED PATROL, 5/25/14. Officers from the Reston District Station patrolled the county searching for drunk drivers. No drivers were charged with DWI. Eight summonses and seven warnings were issued.
Sully District
BURGLARY, 15400 block of Martins Hundred Drive, 5/26/14, 5:30 a.m. A resident reported a man broke into their residence while they were home. Responding police officers located the suspect and took him into custody. Mitchell James Embley, 22, of Centreville, was charged with burglary.
BURGLARY, 15400 block of Smithaven Place, 5/29/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.
Mount Vernon District
ROBBERY, Beekman Place/Village Green Drive, 5/23/14, 12 p.m. The victim was walking when he was assaulted from behind, knocked to the ground and had money taken from him. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No suspect description is available.
BURGLARY, 3800 block of Candlelight Court, 5/23/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.
PEEPING, 3300 block of Pintail Court, 5/23/14, 4:41 a.m. A resident looked out the window and saw a man looking into the room. The suspect fled prior to police arrival.
BURGLARY, 7200 block of Groveton Gardens Road, 5/24/14. A resident reported someone entered the apartment and took property.
ROBBERY, 1900 block of Elkin Street, 5/29/14, 3:06 a.m. Two suspects entered a convenience store and one suspect displayed a handgun to an employee. Both suspects took cash and property and then fled. There were no injuries. Both suspects were described as black males, 18-20s.
BURGLARY, 8300 block of Pondside Terrace, 5/29/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.

BURGLARY, 8200 block of Willow Oaks Corporate Drive, 5/24/14. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property.

BURGLARY, 500 block of Seneca Green Way, 5/23/14. A resident reported someone entered the residence and took property.
BURGLARY, 11600 block of Ivystone Court, 5/26/14. A resident reported someone entered the apartment and took property.
