Council Honors Graduates of the 18th Herndon Citizens Police Academy

Twelve area residents graduate from Herndon Citizens Police Academy.

The Herndon Town Council presented certificates of responsible citizenship to 12 of the newest graduates of the Herndon Citizens Police Academy during Tuesday's public meeting. 

The classes, which were held from September through November, give area residents a better understanding of police operations in Herndon. Attendees listened to presentations, took part in hands-on activities, toured the Fairfax County jail, went to a firing range and more. 

Graduates include: Esthella Cobos-Clema, Jeffrey Davidson, Jocelyn Figueroa, Michael Galdun, Barbara Glakas, Reid E. March, James Rider, Maradee Rider, J. David Richardson, Leanne Swisher, Robert B. Walker and Andrew Wallace.
