Town of Herndon Police confirmed that a body was found in the creek near the 600 block of Center Street Friday morning.
Patch readers reported closed roads and crime scene tape, and a large police presence in the area.
Police were not able to offer any other information about the deceased as of 10 a.m. Friday. Patch will continue to follow the story and provide more information when possible.
