You can't make this stuff up

1.       A prominent Republican senator from Oklahoma denies climate change because it’s cold outside.

2.       A multi-billionaire Republican candidate, who makes $7.36 per second, believes that the $7.50 per hour minimum wage is too high.

3.       A Republican governor’s political revenge just about shuts down one of the busiest commuter arteries in the nation.

4.       A prominent Republican senator from Arizona who was a cheerleader for the invasion of Iraq wants to send US troops back there to fight some more.

5.       A country that passed Bush’s Patriot Act seems surprised that every early warning of what might happen actually happened (NSA anyone?).

6.       Republicans believe that the answer to mass shootings is more guns.

7.       People in West Virginia seem surprised that despite decreasing regulation, their drinking water has been contaminated by a careless coal company.

8.       In a Republican-dominated Congress with 13% approval rating, 95% of the members get re-elected.

9.       Healthcare costs for the US are nearly double that of every other developed country, yet our overall life expectancy is lower and outcomes are worse.  The majority of personal bankruptcies are caused by medical bills for the uninsured.  Yet Republicans are against health insurance.

10.   The Republican-dominated Supreme Court believes that corporations are people and that racism no longer exists in the US.

11.   A giant company whose owner family members are all multi-billionaires pays employees so little that half of them are on welfare or food assistance.

12.   In the lower 48 states, the public employee with the highest salary is either a football or basketball coach.

13.   The universal Republican answer to unemployment and poverty is to give more money to rich people (tried that in 2000, didn’t work out so well).

14.   The only case of voter fraud in the US in the last 10 years was that of a Republican operative caught while trying to prove how easy it is.
